Designing this eclectic bohemian bridal shower/personal branding session for women-focused businesses (apparel, accessories, retreats, travel, yoga studios, etc), at the historic military shipyard, Mare Island in Vallejo, CA, was crazy fun, a wee bit dangerous, and very adventurous!!
The decaying urban location and backgrounds, combined with such an eclectic bohemian attitude and diverse group of gals, led to something completely unique and creative! The energy and theme of the day truly does the phrase, “Girls Just Want To Have Fun” justice, don’t you agree? :D

My friends and I have been photographed by other photographers in the past and none of us were ever thrilled about the photos they took of us. Quite frankly, we were always leery of photographers because they never quite did us justice, nor did they capture the energy and excitement of the events we were at. They even posted photos online that I felt were not very flattering (and even embarrassing!). Sadly, I know a lot of ladies who prefer not to have their photo taken because of negative experiences just like these. It’s totally depressing!
On the flip side, over the last few years my friends and I have been photographed by Angie at multiple events, during a variety of photography sessions at different locations across the Bay Area – I cannot tell you how much fun and how easy Angie makes it to have your picture taken. The girls and I have so much fun during our shoots together, we get to bond, play dress up and relax all at the same time.
